| Netball Night | ||||||||||
|
A netball night has started at St John's Hill on
Monday evenings. This will take place at Hillview school's indoor
sports center from 7.30pm – 8.45pm. All levels welcome. This is for existing
players and teams, and any new players who would like to carry on with
netball throughout the year. It’s a chance to practice and train leading up to
the netball season, and to encourage new players for those teams requiring additional players. Please call Kelly on 07787 755143 if you
would like to attend. Ideas on training programs etc are welcome.

Kent will be hosting the ‘Regional Talent Festival’
on Sunday 28th February 2010 at Rainham Girls School. The games
will involve athletes from the county academies of Kent, Surrey, Essex
and Middlesex.

| Level 2 Coach required | ||||||||||
|
The Bromley East School Sports Partnership are
looking for a Level 2 netball coach to deliver netball to young people
within the Partnership from September 2009.
Coaching sessions are needed for 6-8 weeks to help primary schools prepare for cluster and borough competitions. The sessions will need to be delivered out of school hours ie mornings, lunchtimes, after school. This is a paid role. We have a lady who is looking for a team to play
for. She is probably mid standard, used to play at uni a couple of years
ago, likes wd but will play any centre court. If any teams are

Congratulations to Jennie Gregory, Petra Bones and
Sue Solomon who have recently qualified as beginner award umpires. If
you are in divisions 5, 6 or 7 and need umpires please contact Natalie
Harris and she can pass on their contact details. David Kerr-Sheppard
also qualified as a B award umpire on 25 April 2009. Congratulations to
